Meet Alex Padron, DVM, DACVS-SA

Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Surgeons

Dr. Alex Padron is a board-certified veterinary surgeon specializing in advanced orthopedic and soft tissue procedures. His training and experience reflect years of focused surgical education beyond veterinary school, allowing him to manage complex cases with precision, sound judgment, and a commitment to excellent outcomes.

Known for his calm presence and thoughtful communication, Dr. Padron takes time to ensure pet owners feel informed, supported, and confident in their decisions. He believes exceptional surgical care extends beyond the operating room — it includes listening, education, and a genuine respect for the bond between pets and the people who love them.

Dr. Padron co-founded Veterinary Surgery Group with a clear vision: to create a locally owned, family-led surgical practice where advanced medicine is delivered in a more personal, attentive environment for patients, their families, and the veterinarians who trust their care to him.

“Every patient deserves the same level of care and attention I would want for my own.”

Veterinary Surgery Group LLC is located at 3371 SW Martin Downs Blvd, Palm City, FL 34990.

What to Expect at Your Consultation

Your consultation is designed to provide clarity, guidance, and a thoughtful plan for your pet’s care. Our goal is to make sure you feel informed, supported, and confident in every step forward.

Case Review & Evaluation

Dr. Padron will review your pet’s medical history, imaging, and referral information, followed by a thorough examination when appropriate.

You’ll receive clear recommendations, including surgical and non-surgical options when applicable, along with expected outcomes, risks, and recovery considerations.

We’ll take the time to answer your questions and help you understand the process, timeline, and what to expect moving forward — so you can make decisions with confidence.

There is no pressure to proceed with surgery. Our priority is helping you understand your pet’s condition and the best path forward even if we decide that its not surgery.
